DARC is proud to introduce a new program designed for school students (and adults) to learn about the life of horses, horsemanship and horse riding. A whole range of activities have been prepared to ensure that visitors have a unique experience filled with fun, excitement and adventure to help educate and empower young people.

Introduction to DARC

Denai Alam Recreation and Riding Club opened its doors in the year 2009 to provide opportunities to families to experience outdoor activities in a very affordable way. Embracing the philosophy of 'sharing and charity' a non-profit organization - we welcome your contributions. A place where families get together and have a good time.

DARC has been developed to be unique, fun, and create memorable experiences. It is equipped with facilities such as riding arenas, stables, horse feeding, fun-shot archery, splash pool, chalets, petting zoo (rabbit farm, fishing, chicken/bird park), as well as food and beverages in our restaurant.

DARC maintains strict COVID 19 SOP precautions and social distancing between participants in the program. Safety rules and precautions are briefed during the welcome, and social distancing between participants are maintained throughout activities and program.
Any persons from ages 5 and above can join and participate in the program. Parents are also welcome to join the program.
All participants must wear sports shoes and attire, no shorts or slippers are allowed.

The program at DARC is specially constructed by a well-trained international horse rider who has many years of experience to cater and benefit participants for the following:

  • Promote leadership qualities
  • Great exposure to the world of horses
  • Learn responsibilities and patience
  • Care for animals
  • Promote a healthy outdoor life and encourage physical activities
The cost of the program is RM110, and participants automatically receive 2-year membership worth RM100 for the entire family (now that's great Value for Money). With the free membership, participants and the whole family can enjoy exclusive privileges at DARC like discounts at the clubhouse and restaurant, horse riding lessons, and also make use of the other available facilities like our splash pool, volleyball court etc.
Tea and snacks will be provided for the participants, we also have water dispensers available. You may carry your own snacks if you wish.
Yes, the program is open to all ages above 5 years old. Even parents are welcome to join the program.
Yes, parent may wait in the restaurant are while the kids are attending the program. Strict social distancing should be followed at all times.
We have a no refund policy if you do not turn up for the event. If you have made payment and cannot attend on the date, you will be allowed to change once only to a suitable date available.
You can register by filling up the registration form. Payment can be made either with cash or online transfer. We do NOT accept card payments.

Yes certainly, everyone is welcome at DARC. We will make special arrangements to cater for anyone with special needs. Please contact us for further information or to discuss your requirements.
Yes horse riding is a safe sport. According to research by UK healthcare provider Beneden, it was revealed that injuries caused by horse riding (2.3%) were far less than that caused by football (18.9%); running (9.4%) and rubgy (4.9%). Our staff are experienced and well trained, and we will always ensure that the environment and activities are safe for our visitors.
